United Women (DCUW) soccer team, which joins the United Soccer Leagues' W-League, the first and longest-standing women's soccer league in North America.

D.C. United Women will make their debut in a road match against the New Jersey Wildcats on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Their first home game will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Maryland.
